THE GIVING TREE
5,000 senior citizens, who otherwise might not receive any gifts during the holiday season, put a small item or two on tags that hung on trees in one of 14 participating Perkins restaurants. Members of Florida Kiwanis Division 19 clubs Fort Myers, Fort Myers-Edison, Fort Myers South and Harney Point, picked up, sorted, stored and distributed the gifts to 51 facilities in Southwest Florida.
